“L.A. in the Morning,” Channel 9’s early morning talk show, is moving to a later hour April 17 “to remove it from the overcrowded 8 a.m. talk show glut.” The Monday through Friday program will air from 11 a.m.-noon, “a time period presently void of this type of programming,” said Walt Baker, executive producer of the show and vice president and program director of KHJ-TV. In recent weeks, Jon Bauman was hired to co-host with Stephanie Edwards and Emmy-winning producer Philip Reeder was brought aboard “to improve the production value of the show. We are now moving the show to a time we believe will attract more viewers,” Baker said Wednesday.
