Pictures of Grieving
Shame on The Times! On March 30 there was a half-page picture of Nadia Puente’s mother at the funeral. On March 31 the front page had a picture of a mother receiving the news that her child had nearly drowned and may have suffered brain damage. I expected more from a respectable newspaper--more compassion and more respect for human tragedy.
Why not a picture of the crowds of people that attended the funeral? Why not a picture of the pool and its “protective” fence?
In the future, please give people an ounce of privacy in their time of grief.
