The College Football Assn. says it is still working on details of a plan to replace college bowl games with a 16-team championship playoff.
Dave Ogrean, assistant director of the CFA television committee, said that members have expressed cautious optimism about the plan, but said no decision will be made until the CFA votes on it in June.
