Gloria De Haven Lunch to Benefit Actors’ Home
Actress Gloria De Haven, who is marking her 50th year in show business, will be honored as “entertainer of the year” by the Film Welfare League at an 11:30 a.m. luncheon today in the Crystal Room of the Beverly Hills Hotel.
The event will be a benefit for the league’s planned home for retired actors who are ineligible for other shelter.
