WORLD : Israel Seals Off Occupied Lands

JERUSALEM — Israeli troops today sealed off the occupied lands against attacks during two holidays, and Arab-owned cars in Israel were stoned by protesters angered at the killing of a soldier.
The army clamped an indefinite curfew on 700,000 Palestinians in Gaza Strip and barred 1 million West Bank residents from entering Israel until Wednesday night. The restrictions were imposed to keep Palestinians out during Israel’s Memorial and Independence Day holidays.
