About 200 fans of cross-town rival soccer teams were involved in a two-hour melee Tuesday night outside a stadium in Genoa, Italy.

A government official said that 15 people were injured in fights between rival groups and in clashes with riot police on a night when no game was scheduled. Twenty persons were arrested, and police seized clubs, iron bars and knives.
