Beach Savings Bank in Fountain Valley posted net income of $147,000 for the first quarter. It had a loss of $232,000 in last year’s first quarter. Quarterly revenue rose 73%, to $2.6 million this year from $1.5 million last year. Total assets were $96.2 million at the end of March, an increase of 31% over $73.3 million in assets a year earlier. Total deposits grew 30%, to $81.2 million at the end of the period from $62.7 million a year earlier. Total loans rose 89%, to $73 million from $38.7 million.
