Lost El Cajon Man Safe After 5 Days
A 32-year-old mentally impaired El Cajon man missing for five days was found Saturday after being noticed by some Del Mar residents, sheriff’s deputies said.
David Allan Powers, who disappeared from the Del Mar Fair after he wandered away from his mother Tuesday, was found at a Del Mar gas station, deputies said.
Powers was in good condition and released to his guardian, authorities said.
Deputies were dispatched to 12th Street and Camino Del Mar after they received several calls from residents who said they had seen the El Cajon man.
