Pacific Palisades : Constitutional Convention
After months of debate, the Pacific Palisades Community Council has decided to hold a “constitutional convention” next month to discuss restructuring the 18-member governing body.
Some community leaders have suggested that council members be chosen by district rather than at-large. Council member Randy Young, a local historian, said recently that some parts of the Palisades are over-represented while others are not represented at all.
Council chair Flo Elfant said the date for the convention will be set at the next council meeting, July 13.
