Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich was in stable condition today at St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank where he is being treated for a slight case of pneumonia, a spokesman said.
Antonovich was admitted to the hospital Wednesday, said Dawson Oppenheimer, the supervisor’s press spokesman.
Antonovich, who represents the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope valleys, became ill with a high fever and headaches last weekend, Oppenheimer said. He attended a press conference Monday morning but then returned home. His staff has canceled his schedule for this week, Oppenheimer said.
