Pam Shriver, a finalist in the Virginia Slims of Newport (R.I.) tennis tournament last Sunday, has entered the $300,000 Virginia Slims of Los Angeles tournament.
With Shriver’s addition to the field, five of the top 10 players in the world are in the 56-woman field vying for the $60,000 first prize.
