Tereschuk to Coach Laguna Hills Baseball
Laguna Hills High School has hired Pete Tereschuk to coach baseball, Athletic Director Dave Brown said Thursday.
Tereschuk, junior varsity coach at Lakewood High School the past two years, replaces Jack Hodges, who resigned after 10 seasons to become baseball coach at Saddleback College.
Tereschuk was varsity coach at Long Beach Wilson from 1982-1987. He also has been an assistant at San Diego State.
“We think he had a good combination of experience,” Brown said.
Tereschuk also will teach English and assist with the varsity football program, which Brown said was influential in his selection.
