Steve Cram and Peter Elliott will run...
Steve Cram and Peter Elliott will run against each other in Australia to decide which of the two will run in the 1,500 meters for England in next year’s Commonwealth Games.
The runoff will be held in a track meet just before next January’s Games at Auckland, New Zealand.
Sebastian Coe, who automatically qualified for the 1,500 by winning the national trial in Birmingham, has not decided whether to go to New Zealand. If he withdraws, then both Elliott and Cram could be accommodated without a runoff.
