Game Halted 3 Times by Lightning
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue’s 27-10 victory over Miami of Ohio was delayed three times for a total of 49 minutes while a series of thunderstorms passed over Ross-Ade Stadium.
An unidentified 14-year-old girl was treated and released after lightning struck near her during halftime. She was was able to leave the stadium on her own, Purdue campus police said.
