Fullerton : 3 Held on Suspicion of Using Stolen Credit Card
Three people were arrested at the Radisson Suites Hotel in Fullerton on suspicion of using a credit card taken in a robbery in Redondo Beach hours before, police said Tuesday.
Employees at the new hotel called police at 11:15 p.m. Monday after one of the men rented a room using a Discover card imprinted with a woman’s name, according to Fullerton Police Officer Cecil Reece.
Reece said the card had been reported stolen from a 38-year-old Torrance woman, whose purse was wrestled from her outside a Redondo Beach grocery store.
Tracy Ann Andrews, 19, of Hawthorne; Joseph Karl Elkin, 19, of Redondo Beach, and David Auron Frawley, 22, of Carson are being held in Fullerton City Jail on suspicion of robbery, forgery and possession of stolen property, Reece said.
