Countywide : OCTD to Consider Bid for Federal Assistance
The Orange County Transit District board will consider approval of a $19.2-million federal grant request Thursday to finance the rehabilitation of 27 buses and the purchase of new fare collection equipment.
The grant request, to be submitted to the federal Urban Mass Transit Administration, will be considered during the agency’s board meeting at 9 a.m in the Board Hearing Room, Ralph B. Clark Administration Building, 11222 Acacia Parkway, Garden Grove.
OCTD operates the county’s primary bus and dial-a-ride services.
