North Korea could develop its own nuclear device within five years and perhaps produce a deliverable bomb soon thereafter, Jane’s Defense Weekly said. The authoritative British publication, which specializes in military and intelligence affairs, said information on North Korea’s capability is scant but the Communist nation already has sufficient Soviet technology and at least one mine producing natural uranium to give it the potential to make a nuclear bomb.
