Lech Walesa Reportedly to Visit Chile Late This Month

SANTIAGO, Chile — Lech Walesa, leader of Poland’s Solidarity union movement, will travel to Chile later this month to try to secure freedom for two Chilean labor leaders, an opposition newspaper reported Tuesday.
Quoting a statement released in Rome by the International Confederation of Free Trade Union Organizations, La Epoca said Walesa would visit Chile from Oct. 26-28.
