Mission Viejo : Tustin Man Hurt After Car Hits Back of Bus
A Tustin man driving south on the San Diego Freeway near Crown Valley Parkway hit the back of a public bus on Wednesday evening, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The driver of the 1965 Ford pickup, Ronald Malton Yarborough, 39, was slightly injured in the 7:40 p.m. accident, CHP spokesman Ken Daily said. The front end of his truck was severely damaged, but Yarborough was not taken to a hospital, Daily said.
The bus, driven by Orange County Transit District employee Michael A. Hilliard, 45, of Oceanside, had slight damage to its rear end, Daily said.
“The report shows (Yarborough) mostly at fault,” Daily said, adding that Yarborough was cited for unsafe speeds.
