Community College Roundup : Fullerton Women Win in Volleyball
Ursula Rauch had eight kills to lead Fullerton College to a 15-11, 15-5, 15-9 victory over Orange Coast in an Orange Empire Conference women’s volleyball match at Fullerton Thursday.
Tamar Montz added six kills for Fullerton, which is 10-4 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
In Orange Empire Conference water polo:
Cypress 8, Saddleback 4--Craig Garcia had four goals and Steve Ree three to lead the Chargers at Saddleback. Goalie Pat Ruzgeian had seven saves for Cypress (10-4, 3-2).
In nonconference soccer:
East Los Angeles 4, Orange Coast 1--Pat Callaghan scored one minute into the game for visiting Orange Coast (6-3-1).
