ENTERTAINMENT - ‘Sajak Show’ Cut to One Hour
NEW YORK —
“The Pat Sajak Show” will be trimmed to one hour starting Oct. 30 in an effort to pick up the pace of the late-night gab fest, CBS officials said today.
Sajak’s weeknight series began in January as a 90-minute program that went head to head with NBC’s one-hour “Tonight Show” and the first half hour of “Late Night With David Letterman.” It also was pitted against ABC’s half-hour “Nightline,” and the syndicated, one-hour “Arsenio Hall Show.”
