Comebacks Nothing New for Bills’ Reich

I know this will be of little consolation to Ram fans, but Frank Reich has been instrumental in great comebacks before.

In 1984, Reich’s Maryland team played sixth-ranked Miami, a team that included Melvin Bratton, Alonzo Highsmith, and, of course, Bernie Kosar. Trailing 31-0 at halftime, the Terps scored 42 second-half points with replacement Reich at the helm and won the game when they stopped a two-point conversion with seconds remaining.

It is also interesting that the man Reich replaced five years ago was Stan Gelbaugh, now his backup at Buffalo.
