ON THE SIDELINES : Gridder Charged in Rowdy Party
From Times wire services
EAST LANSING, Mich. — A rowdy party broken up by police in riot gear led to a felony charge against John Langeloh, the star place-kicker on the Michigan State University football team.
Langeloh pleaded innocent during his arraignment Tuesday in district court on a charge of selling alcohol without a license. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Nov. 20.
East Lansing police say the charge stems from a Saturday night party at the football player’s home, at which an estimated 500 people paid $3 each for beer.
