Bel-Air : 1-Day Hebrew Class Offered
The University of Judaism is offering a program that promises to teach participants to read Hebrew in a single day.
The all-day Hebrew Reading Marathon will be held Dec. 3 on the university campus at 15600 Mulholland Drive. Led by Rabbi Noah Golinkin, author of the Hebrew-reading text “While Standing on One Foot,” participants will learn the Hebrew alphabet, master 180 useful Hebrew words and learn how to read short, popular prayers and blessings. The university describes the program as “eight hours of study, fellowship, personal enrichment and growth.”
The program begins at 9:30 a.m. and continues until 5:30 p.m. The fee of $70 includes lunch and materials.
