Investors Increase Pioneer Bancorp Stake: A group led by the president of Savers Life Insurance, Jerry David Stoltz Sr., increased its stake in Fullerton-based Pioneer Bancorp from 6.9% to 8.3%, or 146,200 common shares. The group, which also includes Savers Life, bought 25,000 shares between Nov. 30 and Dec. 28 for a price ranging from $9.75 to $13.12 each, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
