David E. Morgan resigned as senior vice president of Summit Health Ltd. and as president and chief operating officer of the company’s hospital group.
Morgan’s responsibilities were assumed by Donald J. Amaral, who last October was appointed president of Summit Health, a Burbank-based operator of hospitals and other health-care facilities.
Summit also named A. Dean Staley as vice president for finance. He previously was chief financial officer of National Medical Enterprises’ hospital group.
