Valley Center
A brawl among four men outside a Valley Center bar on Saturday left one man dead and another injured, a San Diego County sheriff’s deputy said.
Adolfo Martinez, 23, died of a stab wound to the chest in the parking lot of the Valley Center Inn. His brother, Octaviano Martinez, 27, also suffered a stab wound to the chest. He was treated at Palomar Memorial Hospital.
A sheriff’s deputy said the brothers were drinking beer in the parking lot when they got into a dispute with two other men. The weapon has not been recovered and no one has been arrested.
