CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : SAN FRANCISCO : Central Site Backed for New UC Campus

A task force reportedly has recommended location of the next University of California campus in Central California, the only region that does not have one. The nine-member Site Selection Task Force made the unanimous recommendation to UC President David Gardner after a closed meeting last month. Gardner is expected to seek approval from the full board next month.
