Tokatee Wins Santa Anita Feature Race by a Neck

Tokatee outfinished Mythical Being in a torrid stretch battle to win the $42,000 allowance feature by a neck Thursday at Santa Anita. Presidential finished third, another 7 1/2 lengths back.

Tokatee, ridden by Gary Stevens and carrying 116 pounds, covered 1 1/16 miles on a track listed as “good” in 1:43 4/5 and paid $8.60, $5 and $4.60.

Second along the rail most of the way, Tokatee slipped inside pace-setting Mythical Being at the top of the stretch and outgamed him to the wire.
