Bristol-Myers Squibb Co.: The pharmaceutical and consumer products firm said 1989 net income was $747 million, off 40%. Revenue advanced 7% to a record $9.2 billion. In the fourth quarter, the New York firm had a $353-million net loss although sales rose 10% to a record $2.4 billion. The firm blamed the results on a previously announced pretax charge of $740 million related to the merger of Bristol-Myers and Squibb and for restructuring.
