VTN Corp.: The Orange-based engineering and land planning company reported higher earnings for the second quarter of fiscal 1990, despite flat revenue. Net income for the quarter ended Nov. 30 was $748,728, contrasted with earnings of $55,315 for the same period a year ago. Revenue totaled $3.1 million for the second quarter, unchanged from a year ago. Six-month net income reached a record $1.3 million, contrasted with a profit of $141,996 for the first half of fiscal 1989. Revenue dipped to $6 million from $6.2 million.
