Designer showcase rooms and lectures will be featured at the Interior Design Show Friday through Sunday at the Pasadena Center, 300 E. Green St. The show will be 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6. The show is expected to attract between 10,000 and 15,000 people.
The purpose of the exhibit is to provide local consumers with information and ideas on how to improve their current homes or to decorate and furnish new homes. The show will include 125 exhibitors.
The show will feature wall and window coverings, accessories, bath and kitchen fixtures and artwork. There will be 16 interior design lectures, including one on colors and one on lighting.
A highlight of the show will be “Butler-in-a-Box,” a computerized home energy management system that responds to voice commands.
