2 Die in S. Africa Clash

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa — Police opened fire Wednesday on black demonstrators stoning a police vehicle during an anti-government protest in the gold mining town of Carletonville, 50 miles west of Johannesburg, killing two blacks and wounding three others, police said. Thirteeen blacks were arrested.
