True and Blue, 117, ridden by Nick Santagata, finished second, beating Lord March, 114, with Angel Cordero, Jr.
The victory was the sixth in 14 career starts for Mr. Nickerson, who is owned by Robert Nixon. The colt covered the six furlongs on the fast track in 1:09 2/5.
