In Orange Empire Conference men’s basketball:

Golden West 80, Fullerton 64--Kevin Andersen scored 18 points for third-place Golden West (17-8, 4-2) at home.

Orange Coast 75, Saddleback 72--Chip Hanlon had 17 points and eight rebounds to lead visiting OCC (13-8, 2-4).

In Orange Empire Conference women’s basketball:

Golden West 87, Fullerton 53--Golden West led, 16-0, after five minutes and coasted from there. Donna GondAringer had 24 points and 12 rebounds for first-place Golden West (25-1, 6-0) at Fullerton.

Orange Coast 76, Saddleback 46--Forward Erika Manning scored 24 points on 11-of-15 shooting and had eight rebounds to lead host Orange Coast (21-4, 5-1). OCC plays at Golden West Friday.
