COLLEGE ROUNDUP : SCC Women Knock Off Pacific Christian
Lori Halliday and Gail Brown each scored 13 points to lead Southern California Christian College to a 79-43 victory over Pacific Christian College in a nonleague women’s basketball game Wednesday night.
Debbie Allen scored 12 points for Pacific Christian.
In Western Intercollegiate Volleyball Assn. men’s volleyball:
Cal State Long Beach 3, UC Irvine 1--Cal State Long Beach won, 9-15, 15-5, 15-10, 16-14, at Irvine. Brent Hilliard had 23 kills to lead Cal State Long Beach to victory in its first match of the season.
Mike Minier led Irvine (0-3) with 17 kills.
