Frank Reinhart has been named vice president of research and development for Toshiba America’s computer systems division in Irvine. Previously, he was vice president of research and development at the company’s disk products division. In his new position, Reinhart will be responsible for new product development and participate in planning for Toshiba’s portable personal computer and printer lines. Before joining Toshiba, he was vice president of application products and services at McDonnell Douglas Computer Systems Co.
