Duchess of York Visits Stepfather in U.S. Hospital

NEWARK, N.J. — The Duchess of York, the former Sarah Ferguson, came to the United States on Saturday to visit her stepfather, who is in a New York City cancer hospital. Hector Barrantes, 51, has been admitted to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. A spokeswoman declined to comment on the nature of his illness.
