HEART OF FILMDOM? In a discussion about the Oscars on the David Letterman show, film critic Gene Siskel was talking about the members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the kinds of movies they like. . . . Who are the members of the academy, asked Letterman. “They live in Orange County and they’re rich,” said Siskel. . . . The academy wouldn’t say where all of its 5,300 members live, but a spokeswoman noted that “if he’d said Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills and Brentwood, he might have something.”
