WOMEN’S BASKETBALL : USC Upsets Oregon in Final Home Game
USC concluded its home season with a 66-61 upset victory over Oregon in a Pacific 10 women’s basketball game Sunday night at USC.
Oregon earlier this season defeated USC by 22 at Eugene, Ore.
Senior Tammy Hammond led USC (7-16, 5-9) with 14 points and nine rebounds. Oregon is 16-9, 8-6.
The Trojans conclude their season with road games at Washington, Washington State and UCLA.
UCLA 74, Oregon State 55--Sandra VanEmbricqs had 19 points and a career-high 18 rebounds to lead the Bruin women (16-9, 11-4) over Oregon State (5-22, 1-13) at UCLA.
