From Times Wire Services
NEW YORK — The Writers Guild of America, after negotiating past the midnight deadline, reached agreement today with CBS for a new three-year contract that provides for wage increases and other benefits.
The agreement is subject to the approval of the union membership, which was expected to ratify the pact at meetings to be held in Los Angeles and New York on Monday.
The 325 staffers covered by the guild include editors, desk assistants, researchers, promotion writers and graphic artists.
