BREA : School Board OKs Televising Meetings

The Board of Education voted 5 to 2 to approve local cable television broadcasting of their meetings the first and third Wednesday nights of each month on channel 3.
Dissenting board member Frank Davies said he was concerned that the estimated $15,000 a year going toward the broadcast would be spent on something few people would watch.
Frank Conneli, assistant superintendent of business, said cable television broadcasts of the meetings should begin in four to six weeks.
