Tug, Ship Collide on River

NEW ORLEANS — A tugboat and a freighter collided Friday on the Mississippi River, sinking at least three grain barges and setting adrift up to 14 others, the Coast Guard said. No injuries were reported, but a 20-mile stretch of the river was closed while tugs rounded up the stray barges.
