The “Afternoon with Mr. Blackwell” fashion show and luncheon held at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim on March 8 raised an estimated $12,500 for the Cameo Auxiliary of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Orange County. Margie Job was chairwoman.
The “Spirit of Courage” tribute dinner at the Inn at the Park in Anaheim on March 9 raised an estimated $13,200 for the Orange County Burn Assn. William Bennett was chairman.
The “La Nuit au Casino” casino gaming and dinner dance at the Turnip Rose in Costa Mesa on March 9 raised an estimated $40,000 for the Orange County chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and Volunteers in Multiple Sclerosis. Rosemary Kotarski, Barbara Mozan and Kathy Clifton were chairwomen.
The “Cirque de Carnaval” dinner dance at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim on March 10 raised an estimated $17,000 for the Masked Ball chapter of the Guilds of the Orange County Performing Arts Center. Peter Carter was chairman.
