A man who asked a teller to fill a paper bag with money robbed a bank Wednesday and fled with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
About 4 p.m., a blue-eyed man in his mid-30s, said to be between 6 feet and 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing more than 200 pounds, entered the San Diego Trust & Savings branch at 250 North 2nd St. and waited his turn in line, authorities said.
After the teller filled the bag with money, he left and has not been seen since, police said. He apparently was not armed.
