Parker and Poll Battle at Forum

Edward (Pee Wee) Parker of Houston faces Jesus Poll of Los Angeles for the vacant International Boxing Council 126-pound junior championship Monday night at the Forum.

Parker brings a 20-4-2 record with eight knockouts into the scheduled 12-round fight. Poll is 21-3-3 with four KOs. Both fighters are coming off losses.

On the undercard, Rafael Ruelas fights Abe Gomez in a scheduled 10-round featherweight bout. Ruelas is 17-0 with 14 KOs. Gomez is 14-4-1 with seven KOs. Preliminaries will open the program at 7 p.m.
