Wisconsin led from start to finish to win the Herschede Cup, symbolic of the national collegiate championship in men’s varsity eight rowing, at the Cincinnati Regatta at East Fork State Park.

Wisconsin covered the 2,000 meter course in 5:52.5, defeating three-time champion Harvard by 4.34 seconds. UCLA finished third in 5:56.87, followed by Syracuse, 6:00.9 and Washington, 6:03.83.
