Dobie’s pop is in the spotlight for a change, on the “Daddy Dearest Sitcom Zone” (Sunday at 8 p.m. on Nickelodeon), which is made up of eight Dobie Gillis episodes that feature the flustered Herbert T. Gillis.

Is it Beverly Hills or Hooterville? Hard to tell. During a charity show on Green Acres (Wednesday at 9 p.m. on Nickelodeon), Lisa Douglas plays Granny, Oliver is Jethro and Mr. Kimball is Jed.

Hardcastle & McCormick (Monday at 3 p.m. on Family) takes a look back at how the judge and the wise guy first met-before they teamed as crime fighters.

George Burns is willing to pay $25,000 for a new act to appear with him in Las Vegas, and Wilbur figures Ed is just the horse for the job, on Mr. Ed (Monday at 5 a.m. on Nickelodeon).

Two private eyes go back to their TV roots: Cannon starts a new run, beginning with the two-part pilot (Monday and Tuesday at 1 p.m. on KCOP). And in the two-part premiere of Magnum, P.I. Robert Englund is a cult member on Soap (Tuesday and Wednesday at 12:30 a.m. on KTLA) and a bad guy on CHiPs (Tuesday at 2 p.m. on KTLA), but that’s nothing compared to what he usually plays in the “Nightmare on Elm Street” movies.
