TUSTIN : Kasalek Named to Planning Agency
The City Council has appointed Marjorie Kasalek to the Planning Commission.
Kasalek, a homemaker, fills the vacant seat of Leslie Anne Pontious, who was elected to the City Council in April.
Kasalek, 37, said she is excited by the opportunity to help make decisions for the city where she has lived for 12 years. Kasalek has been involved in parent-teacher organizations, the Peppertree Homeowners Assn. and Tustin Residents Action Committee, a group that played a key role in the election of the three new council members.
