The Lady Keystone Open, an LPGA event, may be hit with a tax bill of $60,000 from township officials of Hershey, Pa., who are challenging the golf tournament’s charitable status.
About 17% of the $1.1 million in revenue taken in by the tournament last year went to charity--mostly health-care organizations. The remainder went to the costs of running the tournament.
